Key Holders: Key Manager

The Key Holders tab lists all individuals to whom keys have been assigned. This tab can be used to locate individual key holders and modify their key information.

Modify key holder information:

  1. Select the Key Holders tab.

  2. Select the individual you want to edit.

  3. Click Edit.

    The Key Holder window opens, listing the key holder's name, ID, and issued or held keys.

  4. Select the key from the Keys Held list.

  5. Select the status of the key from the Status field.

    The available options are active, inactive, lost, or destroyed.

  6. If the number of keys issued to this key holder has changed, edit the Issued Qty field.

  7. Click the Return Key button if the key was returned.

  8. Issue a new key for this individual:

    1. Click Add.

      The Key Manager lookup opens.

    2. Select a key you want to add.

      The key is added to the My Selection(s) area at the bottom of the window.

    3. Continue to add keys as needed.

      To remove a record that has been added to the My Selection(s) area in error, click the blue arrow directly to the left of the row.

    4. Click Apply.

      The Key Holder window opens.

  9. Click Save.

    The Key Holder window closes and the Key Holders tab of the Key Manager appears.
